Domaine David Duband Louis‑Auguste Bourgogne Hautes‑Côtes de Nuits 2021 is a vibrant and expressive Burgundy red, crafted by David Duband in the foothills of Côte de Nuits. Made entirely from 100% Pinot Noir, this cuvée is sourced from south‑facing, mature vines (~50 years old) on limestone–marl soils at elevations up to 400 m . The 2021 vintage sees 40% whole‑bunch fermentation over 17 days, with gentle maceration (foot punch‑downs and pump‑overs), followed by 14 months of élevage in 30% new and 70% seasoned oak, bottled without fining or filtration .

For the Aroma this wine displays a bright ruby hue with darker glints. On the nose, expect pure, precise aromas of red and black berries (raspberry, strawberry, blackberry), nuanced by iris, peppercorn, tonka, and light liquorice .  Elegant, mid‑weighted texture with a crisp spine of acidity. The palate brings fruit purity and gentle spice, with a chalky mineral finish whispering its terroir. Tannins are refined and smooth .
