Domaine Tortochot Bourgogne PINOT NOIR “FINE SELECTION” 2023

Bourgogne Pinot Noir “Fine Selection” 2023 is a refined expression of Burgundy’s signature grape, crafted by top domaines such as Faiveley, D’Ardhuy, La Burgondie, and Vallet Frères. Sourced from Côte d’Or and Côte Chalonnaise vineyards, this wine is made from 100% Pinot Noir, hand-harvested, and vinified with care. Typically fermented for 8–14 days, sometimes including gentle whole-cluster, then aged for 6–14 months in stainless steel or neutral oak—occasionally with a touch of new oak.

Poured, it shows a clear ruby hue. The nose is bright and inviting, with aromas of strawberry, cherry, raspberry, light spices, and delicate floral notes. On the palate, it is light-to-medium-bodied with crisp acidity and supple tannins. Flavors of juicy red fruits are framed by gentle spice and earth, leading to a clean, fresh finish. This wine offers approachability and versatility—ready now and delightfully suited to casual or refined meals.

Serve at 14–16 °C with grilled chicken, roast pork, mushroom dishes, charcuterie, or mild cheeses. Best consumed by 2028, though bottles from reputed domaines may evolve beautifully into the early 2030s.
